Mueller Flops Set, Gets Paid

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Shortly after that hand with Max Ovseyevitz, Greg Mueller was back at it again in a hand that resulted in a large pot between himself and a lone opponent.

In this one Mueller limped in from under the gun, then watched as a player a couple of seats down raised to 6,500. It folded back around to Mueller who called, and the pair saw the dealer spread a {4-Spades}{2-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} flop.

Mueller checked, and his opponent pushed out 4,500 as a continuation bet. In the midst of getting a message, Mueller was leaned forward and rocking slightly as he grabbed chips to check-raise to 15,500. His opponent sat for a couple of beats looking at his stack of around 75,000, then declared he was all in. Mueller called without hesitation.

Mueller flipped over his {4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} for middle set while he opponent exhaled loudly as he showed his {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}. The turn and river brought a couple of tens, improving Mueller to a full house and sending another player to the rail early on Day 3.
