A Few for Ivey

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Robert Mizrachi and Phil Ivey are now sitting next to one another at a table in the Amazon Orange section, and just a short while ago the pair got involved in a hand against one another.

They'd reached the flop with the board showing {6-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} and about 12,000 in the middle. Mizrachi, playing from under the gun, checked, Ivey bet 6,000, and after thinking a while Mizrachi called.

The turn brought the {2-Clubs} and another check from Mizrachi. Ivey didn't wait too long to bet 12,000, and Mizrachi looked over at Ivey as he considered what to do while Ivey just continued to look forward at the board, his headphones on and with his usual unconcerned look. Finally after nearly a minute, Mizrachi let his hand go.
