Kessler Plays His Pot

Level 7 : 300/600, 75 ante

We came in after the preflop action when the player in the small blind check-called Allen Kessler's bet of 1,650 on the {2-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{7-Spades} flop.

With a check to him after the {10-Hearts} turn was dealt, Kessler continued for 3,500 and his opponent made the call. The player checked again when the {k-Hearts} came on the river and Kessler bet again, 6,000 this time. His opponent called and slid his cards into the muck after Kessler turned over {2-Hearts}{2-Clubs} for a flopped set.

His opponent went on to say, "It could have been a lot worse".

Kessler responded with, "Well, I only win one pot per level." We are not sure that made his opponent feel any better, but some of his table mates had a chuckle.
