Mizrachi Falling

Level 6 : 250/500, 50 ante

We arrived at the table to see the player under the gun open to 1,100. The action folded around to the small blind who called, as did Michael Mizrachi, who was on the big blind.

The flop came down {q-Spades}{8-Spades}{5-Hearts}, as all three players checked their options. With the {2-Diamonds} falling on the turn, Mizrachi led out for 2,200, which was called by both players. The {10-Hearts} was revealed on the river, as the decision checked to the player under the gun, who made it 3,500 to go. Only Mizrachi called, but mucked his hand, after his opponent showed {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades} to win the pot.
