More for Merson
There was an early position raise to 2,500 and a call in the small blind before 2012 World Series of Poker Main Event champion Greg Merson three-bet to 9,000 out of the big blind. Only the original raiser called.
The flop fell , both players checked, and the turned. Merson led out for 10,700, his opponent called, and the completed the board. Merson reached for a handful of T5,000 chips, cut out 40,000, then went back for more, hurling forward enough to put his opponent all in.
The player quickly folded, and Merson pulled in the pot.
