South Takes Some From MacPhee

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

Kevin MacPhee and Cole South are two of the most respected poker players of their generation and the fact South is seated a couple of seats to the left of MacPhee could make for some interesting confrontations.

We caught the end of a clash between the two Goliath's where the board read {5-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{9-Hearts} and South had bet 3,500 from the big blind. MacPhee made the call in the cutoff, but then mucked when South showed {10-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for a pair of tens.
