Big Double for Kravchenko

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

In one of the first hands of the new level, Daniel Alaei raised to 65,000 from middle position and James Wiese called from the button. The action on Alex Kravchenko in the small blind, he didn't wait too long before announcing he was reraising pot, a bet that left him about 150,000 behind.

Sean Dempsey quickly let his hand go from the big blind, then Alaei reraised, Wiese folded, and Kravchenko called all in. The two players showed their hands.

Alaei: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}
Kravchenko: {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{2-Clubs}

The dealer burned a card and spread the {3-Clubs}{8-Spades}{Q-Clubs} flop, followed by the {J-Clubs} turn that gave Kravchenko a club flush. Alaei could still have improved on the river to beat the Russian, but fifth street brought the {10-Diamonds} and Kravchenko kept his seat.
