"I'm Sorry"

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Daniel Merkus opened to 15,000 in early position, Mark Davis called on his direct left, and Yue Zhu moved all in for 56,000 in middle position. The action folded back to Merkus, who immediately folded, and Davis went into the tank. He asked the dealer to pull the bets in, and when he realized the price he was getting, he called.

"I'm sorry," he said, committing the chips.

Davis: {6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}
Zhu: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{9-Spades}

The {j-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} flop kept Zhu in the lead, and the {10-Diamonds} on the turn gave him a straight to the king. Davis was drawing to a diamond flush though, and the {7-Diamonds} on the river gave him said flush. Zhu was eliminated in 43rd, while Davis now sits with 420,000.
