Stout Out, Alaei on the Ascent

A couple more bustouts to report, bringing them ever closer to the cash — Roman Yitzhaki and Matt Stout.

Following Yitzhaki's elimination on a neighboring table, a big hand developed between Stout and Daniel Alaei that saw the pair already having built a pot of about 30,000 when the flop hit. Alaei led for 23,000 and Stout called. The turn was the , at the sight of which Alaei bet 70,000. Stout then raised the pot, Alaei pushed all in, and Stout called with the 250,000 or so he had left.

Stout had for two different flush draws while Alaei held for top two pair. The river was the , and Stout hit the rail as Alaei catapulted up around the top of the counts.
