King Elezra

Level 1 : 75/150, 0 ante

Tom Schneider raised from middle position and got three callers including Eli Elezra on the button and both of the players in the blinds. All four drew two cards initially, and when it checked around Elezra bet and all three of the others called. On the second draw the small blind and Schneider each took two, and the big blind and Elezra one. Once more it checked around to Elezra who bet, but only Schneider stuck around this time.

The third draw saw Schneider taking one card and Elezra standing pat. Schneider checked, Elezra bet, and after pausing just a moment Schneider let his hand go.

As the chips were being swept his way, Elezra showed four of his cards — {7-}{6-}{3-}{2-} — holding the fifth face down. At that Fabrice Soulier piped up from across the table.

"King of hearts," said Soulier, and Elezra quickly flipped over the card — the {K-Diamonds}!

"So close!" grinned Elezra.
