Berger and Buonnano Take One Before the Break

Level 28 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #75 Seth Berger opened to 80,000 from the button, which was enough to take down the blinds and antes.

Hand #76 In the last hand before the break, Antonio Buonanno called from under the gun, and Arthur Pro checked from the big blind, as both watched the flop come {j-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{5-Clubs}. Pro checked his option, then folded, when Buonanno threw out a continuation bet.

Hand #73: Matt Berkey opened the pot with a raise to 100,00 from under the gun and action folded around allowing Berkey to take down the blinds and antes.

Hand #74: Matt Perrins kicked off the action by raising to 100,000 from under the gun, everyone folded except for Matt Berkey who reraised to 350,000. Perrins moved all in and Berkey snap called.

Perrins: {A-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}
Berkey: {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}

The sight of the {10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{7-Spades} flop caused an explosion of cheers from Matt Perrins' rail. Railbirds began jumping, screaming, and singing as Perrins had flopped huge and left Berkey drawing to running outs. The turn {8-Diamonds} was no help to Berkey and no matter what fell on the river, he would be eliminated. The dealer put down the {a-Clubs} on the river and with that, Perrins raked in the chips as Matt Berkey was eliminated from the tournament.

Perrins Wins a Few

Level 28 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #69 Both Matt Berkey and Seth Berger limped into the pot from the blinds, before a bet of 55,000 from Berger on a {k-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} flop, was enough to take down the pot.

Hand #70 Matt Berkey limped into the pot, and Matt Perrins checked from the big blind, as the flop came down {a-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{q-Spades}. Both opted to check, as the {k-Clubs} fell on the turn, before a bet of 80,000 from Berkey, was enough to take down the pot.

Hand #71 Matt Berkey opened to 100,000 from the button, before Matt Perrins raised it up to 255,000 from the small blind. Arthur pro folded his big blind, as the decision was back on Berkey. He thought for a moment, before releasing his hand.

Hand #72 Matt Perrins opened to 105,000 from the button, which was enough to guarantee him the blinds and antes.

Thomas Muehloecker Eliminated in 6th Place ($129,447); Antonio Buonano Doubles

Level 28 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Thomas Muehloecker is all in and eliminated in 6th place
Thomas Muehloecker is all in and eliminated in 6th place

Hand #68: Seth Berger opened with a raise to 110,000. In the next seat Thomas Muehloecker called all in for his tournament life since he had less chips than Berger's raise. Action folded over to Matt Perrins who reraised to 250,000 from the button. Antonio Buonanno then moved all in from the big blind leading to a fold from Seth Berger. With action back on Perrins he tanked for about half a minute before making the call

Perrins: {J-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
Muehloecker: {2-Spades}{2-Hearts}
Buonanno: {K-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

The flop looked good for both Buonanno and Perrins when it came {4-Spades}{q-Spades}{10-Hearts}, giving top pair to Buonanno and an open ended straight draw to Perrins. Perrin's rail exploded with cheers of "Eight! Eight! Eight! Eight!' but it was the {6-Clubs} that came on the turn. The river could still come a king, deuce, or eight to change the outcome of the hand, but it was a {7-Hearts} allowing Buonanno to double up while eliminating Muehloecker from the tournament in the process.

Buonanno Double Leaving Muehloecker Short

Level 28 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #63 Four players limped into the pot, before the flop came down {q-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}. Seth Berger checked, before Matt Berkey placed out a bet of 95,000, which was called Matt Perrins, as Antonio Buonanno got out of the way. Berger made the call from the small blind, as the three watched the {3-Hearts} fall on the turn. Berger checked, before Berkey threw out another bet, totalling 230,000. Perrins called, as did Berger, as the {k-Spades} completed the board. All three checked, as Berger tabled his {10-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for a flush, before a disappointed Perrins rolled over his {2-}{2-} for a losing set.

Hand #64 Thomas received a walk, after Seth Berger gave up his small blind.

Hand #65 Matt Berkey also received a walk, collecting the small blind and antes.

Hand #66 Seth Berger opened to 110,000 from the cut-off, as Thomas Muehloecker went into the tank, whilst on the button. He eventually folded his hand, and the blinds folded, as Berger took down the blinds and antes

Hand #67 Antonio Buonannno moved all in, before Thomas Muehloecker moved all in over the top. The rest of the table folded, as both players turned over their cards.

Buonanno: {a-Spades}{7-Diamonds}
Muehloecker: {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}

The board ran out {10-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{2-Spades}, to see Buonanno spike an ace on the turn, and double, leaving Muehloecker short.

Berkey Doubles Through Buonanno Again; Randall Flowers Eliminated in 7th Place ($98,715)

Level 28 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Randal Flowers is eliminated in 7th place
Randal Flowers is eliminated in 7th place

Hand #61:: Antonio Buonanno opened with a raise to 110,000. A few seats over Matt Berkey reraised all in. Action folded back to Buonanno who asked for a count, which ended up being a total of 920,000. Buonanno thought about it briefly before making the call.

Berkey: {6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}
Buonanno {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}

Berkey had got his money in well behind but he caught a huge flop when it fell {8-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} giving him flush and straight draws. The turn would end matters immediately when it fell the {3-Diamonds} giving Berkey the unbeatable flush. The dealer put out the meaningless {6-Hearts}, allowing Berkey to double up.

Hand #62: Action folded around to Randal Flowers who raised to 100,000. In the next seat over, on the button, Matt Perrins reraised to 230,000. Flowers reraised all in and he was called quickly by Perrins.

Flowers: {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}
Perrins: {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}

The flop came down {J-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{4-Clubs} leaving Flowers out in front. The turn {A-Spades} led to an eruption from the rail, as Perrins had picked up a huge lead, leaving Flowers with one out. The river was the {4-Spades} and that was it for Randal Flowers. He was sent home in seventh place, but picked up nearly six figures for efforts.

Buonanno Gets Busy; Loses Big to Perrins

Level 28 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #56 Matt Berkey limped into the pot from under the gun plus one, as the action folded around to Seth Berger on the big blind, who checked his option. The flop came down {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{q-Spades}, as both players checked. The {5-Diamonds} fell on the turn, as Berger bet out 80,000, which was called, before the {k-Spades} completed the board. Berger reached for his chips, and threw out a bet of 260,000. Berkey thought about his decision for almost a minute, before opting to lay down his hand.

Hand #57 Matt Berkey limped into the pot once again, as the action folded around to the blinds. Seth Berger made the call from the small blind, and Thomas Muehloecker checked from the big blind, as all three saw the flop come {q-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{10-Hearts}. Both blinds checked over to Berkey, who threw out a continuation bet of 90,000, which was enough to take down the pot.

Hand #58 The action folded around to the blinds, before Thomas Muehloecker asked Matt Berkey how much he had behind. He opted to fold his hand, as Berkey received a rare walk.

Hand #59 Antonio Buonanno opened to 110,000 from the hijack, and watched as Randal Flowers made the call from the big blind. The flop came down {a-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{a-Spades} as both players checked their options, before the {7-Hearts} fell on the turn. Flowers checked, before Buonanno threw out a bet of 125,000, which saw Flowers quickly fold his hand.

Hand #60 Antonio Buonanno opened his second pot in a row from middle position, making it 110,000, as Matt Perrins made the call from the big blind. The flop came down {q-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades}, as both players checked. The {8-Diamonds} fell on the turn, and Perrins reached for his chips, betting out 135,000, which was called, as the {9-Hearts} came on the river, completing the board. Perrins paused for a moment, before placing out a bet of 265,000, which sent Buonanno into the tank. Nearly two minutes passed, before Buonanno made the call, only to muck, when Perrins turned over his {q-Diamonds}{j-Spades} for top pair.
