Sung Survives

Level 12

Omaha-8

Jason Mercier opened for 16,000 in early position. David Benyamine then three-bet to 24,000 and a short-stacked Steve Sung four-bet to 32,000. Both Mercier and Benyamine called and it was three-way action to the {7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{9-Clubs} flop.

Two checks saw Sung bet his last 6,500, and both his opponents called before checking the {4-Spades} turn and {9-Spades} river. Mercier showed {a-Spades}{3-Hearts}{x-}{x-} for an ace-three low, but it was no good as Sung tabled the nut low with {a-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}. Beyamine then showed {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} to claim half the pot with the high.
