Maimone Takes One Out

Level 4 : 250/500, 75 ante

We arrived at the table just after Nick Maimone opened with a bet from the cut-off. His opponent raised it up to 3,000 from the button, before he opted to raise once more, to 9,100 in chips, which was called.

The flop came down {10-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{10-Spades}, before Maimone threw out a continuation bet of 6,325, which was called. The {3-Spades} came on the turn, and Maimone quickly reached for chips, and bet out another 16,100. His opponent went into the tank, before opting to move all in for approximately 5,000 more, and was snap called.

Maimone: {A-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Opponent: {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}

Maimone had his opponent covered with the flush draw and king, leaving only a queen on the river to lose him the hand. The {9-Hearts} ended up completing the board, as a player was eliminated from the tournament, as Maimone moved up to 130,000 in chips.
