Gorodinsky Still has Ashton's Number

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 3,000 ante

Omaha-8

Mike Gorodinsky has been sitting on Matthew Ashton's throughout the final table, and he hasn't been making life easy for Ashton. He has just taken another pot off Ashton that has strengthened his chip lead in this tournament. Ashton raised it up, and Gorodinsky three bet from the button. George Fotiadis called from the small blind, and Ashton also called. The flop came down {2-Spades}{k-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}, and it was checked to Gorodinsky, who bet out. Both players called, and when Gorodinsky bet the {3-Hearts} on the turn, only Ashton called. The river was the {q-Spades}, and Ashton check called once more.

Gorodinsky tabled {a-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for the nut low and a pair of sevens, and Ashton studied his hole cards for a bit before kicking them in. After that one, Ashton is down to 358,000, while Gorodinsky is up to 1.3 million.
