Gorodinsky Cracks A Milly, Ashton Hurting

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 3,000 ante

Matthew Ashton raised it up from the small blind, and Mike Gorodinsky called from the big blind. The flop came down {q-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{8-Spades}, and Ashton fired out. Gorodinsky raised it up, and Ashton came along. The turn brought the {5-Clubs}, and Gorodinsky bet again when Ashton checked. Ashton tanked for about a minute before folding, and that pot put Gorodinsky up to 1.1 million.

On the next hand, Ashton and Kristopher Tong were heads up on a {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop. Tong check called a bet from Ashton, and when the {6-Hearts} hit hte turn, Tong elected to fire at it. Again, Ashton thought for a while before releasing his hand, and just like that, he is down to 260,000, while Tong is up to 280,000.
