Newhouse Bluffs

Level 16 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

There was already a little over 18,000 in the middle by the time we caught the action over on table Purple 441. The flop was {5-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} and Barney Boatman checked from the big blind. Lily Newhouse made a 8,500 bet but that wasn't enough for the player in the cut off position. He made it 19,000 and Boatman folded. Newhouse made the call though and they went to the turn: {10-Spades}. Both players checked and the {3-Hearts} completed the board. Newhouse bet 22,000 and was called. Newhouse tabled {Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} and was caught bluffing, her opponent showed {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} and took down the pot.
