Perkins Doubles in Second-to-Last Hand of the Evening

Level 28 : 150,000/300,000, 50,000 ante

Hand #44: Antonio Esfandiari raised to 625,000 from the button, Chris Klodnicki called and the flop fell {7-Spades}{2-Clubs}{10-Clubs}. Two checks saw the dealer burn and turn the {7-Hearts}. Klodnicki checked, Esfandiari bet 475,000 and Klodnicki called.

When the {Q-Clubs} completed the board on the river, Klodnicki checked for a third time and Esfandiari did the same. Klodnicki showed the {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for ace high, and it was good as Esfandiari tossed his cards to the muck.

Hand #45: Bill Perkins got a walk in the big blind.

Hand #46: Chris Klodnicki opened for 600,000 on the button and Antonio Esfandiari called from the big blind. Esfandiari bet 725,000 on the {q-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} flop and Klodnicki folded.

Hand #47: Chris Klodnicki raised to 600,000 in the cutoff only to fold when Bill Perkins moved all in from the button.

Hand #48: Bill Perkins open-shipped for 6,575,000 and Antonio Esfandiari called from the button. The blinds folded and the hands were tabled.

Esfandiari: {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}
Perkins: {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

The {6-Clubs}{6-Spades}{9-Spades} flop was kind to Esfandiari, but the {K-Diamonds} turn was not. Perkins took a commanding lead, which he held through the {4-Spades} river.

Hand #49: Anthony Gregg made it 600,000 from the button only to have Bill Perkins make it 1.5 million from the big blind. That was the last hand of the evening.
