Hand #236

Both players limped into the pot. Lieu moved all in and Volpe mucked.

Hand #237

Both limped into the pot, as the flop came {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{10-Clubs}. Both checked as the {10-Hearts} fell on the turn, which was again checked. The {j-Diamonds} completed the board. Volpe bet 55,000 which was good enough for pot, as Lieu mucked his hand.

Hand #238

Both players again limped into the pot, as the flop came {j-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{9-Spades}. They quickly checked the {3-Hearts} on the turn, before both opting to check the {8-Hearts} on the river. Volpe showed {k-Clubs}{6-Spades} for king-high, which was better than Lieu’s ten-high that flew into the muck.

Hand #239

Both players limped into pot. The flop came the {2-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{10-Spades}. Volpe bet out 35,000 which was enough to take it down.

Hand #240

Both players limped in for the final time, as the flop came {2-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{a-Clubs}. Lieu checked, as Volpe bet out 35,000. Lieu quickly moved all in and was snap called, as the cards were tabled.

Volpe: {6-Clubs}{3-Clubs}
Lieu: {a-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}

Lieu was in front with the pair of aces, and was able to dodge the turn, as it came the {10-Diamonds} turn, however the {k-Clubs} spiked on the river, giving Volpe the flush, as his rail erupted in cheers, swarming the main stage.

A fantastic effort for Lieu, who’s second place finish see him walk away with $123,452 in prize money.
