Hinkle Staying Active

Level 21 : 0/0, 10,000 ante

Hand #63- Four players limped in to see a flop of {q-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{k-Spades}. Blair Hinkle fired out 18,000, and Louis Bonnecaze made the call. The turn was the {6-Spades}, and Hinkle checked this time to Bonnecaze, who fired out 34,000. Hinkle put out a check raise to 104,000. Bonnecaze folded his hand, and Hinkle took down another pot.

Hand #64- All five players limped in for a flop of {2-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}. It was checked to Bonnecaze, who fired out 20,000, which was good enough to take down the pot.

Hand #65- Ben Volpe made it 20,000 to go, and Hinkle reraised to 48,000. Volpe folded his hand, and Hinkle took one down.

Hand #66- Bonnecaze made it 25,000, and Hinkle made the call. The flop came down {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{k-Spades}, and Bonnecaze fired out 35,000, and Hinkle called. The {2-Hearts} hit the turn, and both players checked. The {k-Hearts} hit the river, and both players checked again. Bonnecaze showed {a-Spades}{q-Spades} for two pair, and it was good.

Horacio Chaves is eliminated in 6th place

Hand #59

The remaining six players limped into the pot, as the flop came down {3-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{3-Spades}. The action checked over to Chris Moorman, who bet out 20,000 and was only called by Blair Hinkle. The {4-Spades} fell on the turn, as Moorman slowed down, checking his option, as did Hinkle. The river produced the {k-Spades}, and Moorman checked for the last time, before Hinkle placed out a bet of 45,000. Moorman sat there, looking blankly at the board, before releasing his hand into the muck.

Hand #60

Five players limped into the pot, before the flop came down {8-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}. Chris Moorman bet out 25,000, and was called by Louis Bonnecaze, as both saw the {2-Hearts} fall on the turn. Moorman quickly reached for chips, and threw out 55,000, as Bonnecaze thought about his decision. Almost a minute passed, before he raised it up to 115,000, as Moorman now took his time to decide his next move. He eventually opted to call, as the {8-Spades} completed the board.

Moorman checked, as Bonnecaze sat motionless in his chair, staring at the board. He finally checked and showed {j-Spades}{8-Clubs} for trip eights, as Moorman’s cards went into the muck.

Hand #61

Blair Hinkle raised to 28,000, and Ben Volpe made the call. The flop came down {A-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}, as Hinkle threw in a continuation bet of 32,000, which was enough to take down the pot.

Hand #62

Three players limped into the pot, before Horacio Chaves raised it up to 28,000. Paul Lieu then raised it up to 101,000, before Chaves quickly announced all in, which was snap called.

Chaves: {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades}
Lieu: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

The board would be no help for Chaves, as it ran out {8-Hearts}{9-Spades}{9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} to see him eliminated in 6th place.

Hand #58

Four players limped in, and Blair HInkle made it 33,000 to go. Adam Stone moved all in for 32,000, and everyone else folded.

Hinkle: {q-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}
Stone: {j-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}

Hinkle held the lead, but Stone was drawing very live. It wasn't meant to be for him, as the board came down {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}, giving Hinkle the small bustout.

Hand #54

Chris Moorman raised it up to 23,000, before the action folded around to Horacio Chaves. After thinking about his decision for a minute, he opted to move all in, producing a quick fold from Moorman.

Hand #55

Louis Bonnecaze raised to 26,000, before being met with a raise to 63,000 from Ben Volpe. After a short pause, Bonnecaze made the call as both saw the flop come down {q-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{6-Spades}. Bonnecaze checked his option, before Volpe threw in a continuation bet of 66,000, which was enough to take down the pot.

Hand #56

The two shortest stacks, Paul Lieu and Adam Stone committed the last of their chips in pre-flop, before both tabled their cards.

Lieu: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Stone: {Q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

Lieu was at risk with the shorter stack, but the board of {7-Spades}{2-Spades}{k-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} would fall in his favour, as he doubled up, leaving Stone with less than an ante behind.

Hand #57

Adam Stone was all in for less the ante. Paul Lieu made the call, as did Chris Moorman, and Louis Bonnecaze raised to 32,000. The other's folded, as the cards were turned over.

Bonnecaze: {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}
Stone: {6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}

Board: {7-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{3-Hearts}

Stone flopped a pair, to stay alive in the tournament.

Chaves Doubles Through Lieu

Level 21 : 0/0, 10,000 ante

Hand #51-Paul Lieu limped in, and Chris Moorman made it 33,000 to go. Blair Hinkle then reraised to 70,000, and it folded back to Moorman. He folded after a minute of tanking, and HInkle took down the pot.

Hand #52- Ben Volpe made it 26,000 to go, and he took down the antes.

Hand #53- Horacio Chaves opened the action by moving all in for 116,000. It folded around to Paul Lieu, who made call.

Chaves: {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}
Lieu: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}

Lieu let out a laugh when he saw that he was dominated by a slightly better pocket pair. He would need to catch a ten, but it never happened, as the board ran down {a-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}.

After that hand, Chaves is back up to 250,000, while Lieu is down to 140,000.

Hand #49

Chris Moorman raised to 13,000, before Louis Bonnecaze made the call. The flop came down {2-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{8-Clubs}, as Moorman threw out a continuation bet of 33,000. Bonnecaze called, as both saw the {3-Diamonds} fall on the turn. Moorman then opted to check, as his opponent splashed a bet of 45,000 into the middle, which was enough to take down the pot.

Hand #50

Paul Lieu raised it up to 105,000 in chips, leaving 4,000 behind. Chris Moorman didn’t realise the chips behind, and made the call, as both players saw the flop come down {7-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{5-Spades}. There, Lieu committed his remaining chips, and was called, as both players tabled their cards.

Moorman: {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}
Lieu: {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}

Moorman had out-flopped Lieu, and it looked like another player was going to hit the rail. However, Lieu was able to spike a {6-Spades} on the turn, giving him a set, as the {J-Diamonds} completed the board.
