Simpson Takes One From Kling

Lauren opened in early position with a bet to 3,200. Ian Simpson from the middle position and the player in the small blind call.
The flop came 
and both the small blind and Kling check. Simpson made it 7,800 and only Kling would come along.
Both players check the 
turn and the 
river. Simpson being in position was waiting for Kling to table her hand. She said "Have a nine" but did not turn over her hand. When it was clear she didn't want to, Simpson finally tabled 
.
Another player asked Simpson if the 7,800 bet on the flop was intentional. Simpson looked confused and it was pointed out that 78 made the nuts on the flop.
