Deuces No Good for Puchkov

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 1,500 ante

Before the level changed, Konstantin Puchkov raised to 10,500 in early position, Jesse Martin three-bet to 35,000 on the button, and Puchkov called. Puchkov drew one, Martin stood pat, and both players checked.

Puchkov showed two deuces, but Martin wouldn't flip his hand over until Puchkov either tabled all of his cards or mucked his hand. Earlier today, Puchkov did this twice, once time against John Hennigan when Hennigan showed two sevens, and another time against Paul Volpe who announced a worse hand than what Puchkov was holding. In both instances, Puchkov wouldn't show until the player fanned their entire hand.

Finally, Puchkov showed {2-}{2-}{8-}{7-}{5-}, and laughing, Martin tabled {j-}{9-}{7-}{6-}{2-}.
