"I Make the Right Call Every Time and Lose"

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Mark Jun opened for 20,000 in the cutoff, and Chris DeMaci moved all in for 168,000 from the small blind. Jun went into the tank, and he called after about a minute.

Jun: {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
DeMaci: {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}

"Alright, ace on the flop," Jun said.

He didn't get an ace, but he did catch a pair of tens on the {3-Clubs}{4-Spades}{10-Hearts} flop. The turn was a {6-Diamonds}.

"Seven," Jun said, willing a brick to come out. "Seven."

The dealer burned and turned a {k-Hearts} though, giving DeMaci new life and a sizable stack, and cutting Jun's stack in about half.

"Jesus Christ," he said. "I make the right call every time and lose."
