Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Kara Scott - 17th place
Kara Scott - 17th place

Allen Cunningham opened the pot to 35,000 from middle position only to have Kara Scott three-bet shove for her last 135,000 from the button. Cunningham made the call and the cards were tabled.

Cunningham: {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}
Scott: {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}

The board ran out {K-Spades}{10-Spades}{9-Hearts}{6-Spades}{A-Clubs} and Scott was sent to the rail in 17th place for a $18,700 payday as Cunningham moves to 670,000 in chips.

Benger Takes a Chunk From Gates

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Garry Gates opened the action in early position to 32,000, and Griffin Benger called from the small blind. Both players checked the {q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{3-Spades} flop, and the turn brought the {3-Clubs}. Benger fired out 48,000, and Gates raised it up to 110,000. Benger made the call, and both players checked the scary looking {a-Clubs} on the river.

Benger tabled {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs} for top two pair, and Gates said "nice hand" before mucking his cards.

Hamby Doubles Through Cunningham

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Allen Cunningham made it 40,000 to go from early position, and it folded to Jared Hamby. He tanked for about 45 seconds before moving all in for his last 180,000, and when it got back to Cunningham, he made the call after thinking for half a minute.

Cunningham: {a-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Hamby: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}

Hamby was in great shape to secure the double up, and he held through the board of {k-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{3-Spades}{6-Clubs}. Hamby secured the double up to 420,000, while Cunningham dropped to 540,000.

John Alexander Eliminated in 18th Place ($18,700)

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Griffin Benger raised it up under the gun, and it folded around to John Alexander in the small blind. He moved all in for his last 230,000, and when it got to Benger, he made the call.

Benger: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}
Alexander: {4-}{4-}

The {4-Hearts} was in the window, but it would prove to be part of an action flop of {9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{4-Hearts}. Benger had picked up the nut flush draw, and the {3-Hearts} on the turn gave him that flush. Alexander could still win if the board paired, but it didn't, as the {8-Hearts} hit the river.

After collecting that pot, Berger is now up to 820,000.

David McMann Eliminated in 19th Place ($15,024)

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
David McMann - 19th place
David McMann - 19th place

Kara Scott opened the action to 35,000 only to have David McMann move all in for over 325,000 from the cutoff. With the action on David Nicholson on the button, he moved all in for 249,000 to put the action back to Scott.

Taking close to two minutes to deliberate over her decision, she eventually made the call putting both players at risk.

Scott: {J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}
McMann: {9-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Nicholson: {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}

With Nicholson holding two overs, the {K-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{6-Spades} flop gave him the lead, and when the {Q-Spades} and {7-Diamonds} filled out the board on the turn and river, McMann was bounced in 19th place while Nicholson tripled and Scott sat with a little less then what she began the hand with.

Alex Maturi Eliminated in 20th Place ($15,024)

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Alex Maturi - 20th place
Alex Maturi - 20th place

Allan Vrooman opened to 39,000 only to have Alex Maturi three-bet all in for 277,000. Vrooman went into the tank for close to two minutes before making the call to put Maturi at risk.

Maturi: {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}
Vrooman: {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}

With Maturi racing to stay alive, the {3-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flop would render him drawing virtually dead to a running queen and jack, and when the {9-Spades} and {9-Clubs} landed on the turn and river, Maturi was out the door in 20th place for a $15,024 payday.
