Hands #93-96 Allan Vrooman Eliminated in 3rd Place ($230,178)

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Allan Vrooman
Allan Vrooman

Hand #93- Peter Hengsakul made it 100,000 from the button, and Allan Vrooman, who was the lone blind, reraised to 350,000. Hengsakul folded, and Vrooman collected the pot.

Hand #94- Hengsakul had the button again, and he made it 100,000 to go. Jared Hamby defended his big blind, and the flop came down {8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{7-Diamonds}. Hamby check called a bet of 100,000, and the turn was the {3-Hearts}. Hamby checked again, and this time around, Hengsakul fired out 425,000. Hamby tanked for about a minute before calling, and the river was the {a-Clubs}. Hamby checked a third time, and Hengsakul moved all in. Hamby sat back in his chair, shuffling his chips as he contemplated the decision. He ended up folding his hand, and Hengsakul took down another pot.

Hand #95- Vrooman made it 125,000 on the button, and Hengsakul reraised to 375,000. Vrooman quickly moved all in for about 1.7 million total, and Hengsakul tanked for a minute before calling.

Hengsakul: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Vrooman: {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}

It was another classic coin flip to decide a huge all in confrontation at this final table, and Vrooman's eight's survived the {9-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{10-Spades} flop. Hengsakul was looking for any paint card to win the hand, and while the {9-Spades} on the turn wasn't that, it did bring the {9-Spades}, giving counterfeit outs to Hengsakul. Half the deck would work for him, and the {j-Hearts} on the river gave Hengsakul broadway, knocking out Vrooman in 3rd.

Nicolas Fierro Eliminated in 4th Place ($165,501)

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Nicolas Fierro is eliminated in 4th place
Nicolas Fierro is eliminated in 4th place

Hand #91: Jared Hamby limped in and Peter Hengsakul checked to see a {4-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} flop fall. Hengsakul bet out 100,000 and won the pot from Hamby.

Hand #92: Allan Vrooman opened under the gun to 200,000 only to have Peter Hengsakul move all in for over 5.5 million from the small blind. Nicolas Fierro called all in for roughly his last 170,000, as Vrooman also called all in for his last 710,000.

Fierro: {A-Clubs}{5-Spades}
Vrooman: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}
Hengsakul: {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}

The {4-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{8-Spades} flop gave Fierro additional outs to a straight, and when the {5-Hearts} landed on the turn he gained a further two outs while Hengsakul found four more.

Unfortunately for both of them the {Q-Spades} would strike on the river to send Vrooman up to over 1.6 million as Fierro headed to the rail in 4th.

Hands #87-90 Hamby Doubles Through Fierro

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Jared Hamby doubles through Fierro
Jared Hamby doubles through Fierro

Hand 87- Jared Hamby limped in from the small blind, and Peter Hengsakul checked his option. The flop came down {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}, and a bet of 55,000 from Hamby got the job done.

Hand 88- Hamby made it 110,000 from the button, and Nicolas Fierro defended his big blind. The dealer fanned out a flop of {j-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{k-Spades}, and Fierro checked to Hamby, who checked as well. The {5-Hearts} hit the turn, and this time, Fierro fired out 100,000. Hamby called, and the {6-Spades} hit the river. Fierro fired out again, this time for 255,000. Hamby kicked his hand in after a minute of tanking, and Fierro took down the pot.

Hand 89- Peter Hengsakul raised to 100,000 from the button, and Allan Vrooman came along from the big blind. The flop came down {9-Hearts}{10-Spades}{7-Hearts}. Vrooman led right out with a bet of 120,000, and Hengsakul made the call to see the {6-Spades} hit the turn. Vrooman checked this time, and Hengsakul bet out 200,000. Vrooman folded quickly, and Hengsakul took down the pot.

Hand 90- Fierro made it 105,000 on the button, and Jared Hamby made it 275,000 from the big blind. Fierro thought for about 30 seconds before annoucing all in, and Hamby dropped chips in the middle for the call.

Hamby: {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}
Fierro: {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

Both players had very close stacks, but Hamby was the one who's tournament life was on the line. He held the pair in the race, and that hand held as the board ran down {5-Spades}{4-Hearts}{a-Spades}{6-Hearts}{10-Clubs}.

After winning that hand, Hamby is up to 3.2 million, while Fierro is left with just 160,000.

Hand #86: Peter Hengsakul opened to 100,000 only to have Nicolas Fierro slide out a stack of chips amounting to 750,000. Hengsakul assumed it was an all in and made the call before realizing Fierro had 15,000 behind.

Hengsakul tossed in 10,000 and stated, "you can still fold!"

The dealer spread a {J-Spades}{J-Hearts}{8-Spades} flop and Fierro committed the final 15,000 with Hengsakul calling.

Hengsakul: {A-Hearts}{3-Clubs}
Fierro: {A-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}

The turn and river landed the {6-Diamonds} and {K-Spades} and Fierro doubled through to 1.6 million.

Hands #76 Fierro Doubles Through Hengsakul

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Nicolas Fierro doubles up through Peter Hengsaku
Nicolas Fierro doubles up through Peter Hengsaku

Hand #76- Action folded to Peter Hengsakul in the small blind, and he moved all in. Nicolas Fierro snap called from the big blind.

Hengsakul: {j-Spades}{7-Diamonds}
Fierro: {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts}

Despite having a fairly marginal hand, Hengsakul had a race on his hands, but that changed when the flop came {4-Spades}{6-Spades}{k-Hearts}. Fierro gave a fist pump as he had flopped a set, and Hengsakul would need runner runner to win. The {9-Spades} on the turn gave him a flush draw, but the {4-Diamonds} on the river didn't help him, giving Fierro the double up.
