Troy More Than Triples

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

David "Bakes" Baker: {x-}{x-} / {a-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} / {x-}
Young Phan: {x-}{x-} / {7-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} (FOLD)
Layne Flack: {x-}{x-} / {6-Spades}{k-Spades}{9-Spades}{q-Hearts} / {x-}
Maxwell Troy: {x-}{x-} / {j-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{2-Spades} / {x-}

When we arrived, Troy, who finished runner-up in two stud events in 2010, was already all in on fourth street. Baker bet out, Phan folded, and Flack called. Flack called two more bets on fifth and sixth, then both players checked on seventh.

Baker showed {a-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{7-Clubs} for aces-up, winning the side pot, but Troy scooped the main pot with {k-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} for a flush.

Troy is still very short though with 7,000 chips.
