Justin Bonomo Eliminated in 9th Place ($19,863)

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante
Justin Bonomo - 9th Place
Justin Bonomo - 9th Place

Hand #57: Michael Moore opened the action with a raise and action came to Dom Denotaristefani in the big blind. He called and the flop came {6-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{5-Spades}. Denotaristefani checked and Moore fired out a bet. Denotaristefani called to see a turn.

The {2-Diamonds} struck the turn and Denotaristefani took the lead by firing out a bet. Moore mucked his hand and Denotaristefani took down the pot.

Hand #58: Moore raised once more before the flop from early position and action folded around to Ronnie Bardah in the big blind. He called and the two were heads up to a {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop. Both players checked and the {Q-Clubs} struck fourth street. Bardah led out only to have Moore raise the action. Bardah called and the final community card was the {5-Clubs}. Bardah checked and Moore bet out once more. Bardah flat called and tabled {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}. His aces were good as he dragged in a nice sized pot from Moore.

Hand #59: Brian Aleksa raised the action and took down the blinds before the flop.

Hand #60: Mueller raised the action from middle position and Justin Bonomo moved all in for less from the big blind. The hands were tabled:

Mueller: {A-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}
Bonomo: {J-Spades}{9-Clubs}

The board ran out {8-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{5-Spades}{10-Hearts}{A-Hearts} and Bonomo became the first casualty of this final table.

Hands 41-48

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Hand #41: Dom Denotaristefani raised from the button only to have Ronnie Bardah three-bet from the small blind. It folded back to Denotaristefani and he called the bet. The {7-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{K-Clubs} flop struck the felt and Bardah continued out. Denotaristefani called and the {9-Spades} turned. Bardah bet out once again and received a call.

The river was the {2-Clubs} which paired the board. Bardah bet once more and Denotaristefani went into the tank. Denotaristefani eventually let it go and Bardah took down the pot.

Hand #42: Michael Moore opened the action under the gun with a raise and it folded to Greg Mueller who made it three bets to go. It folded back to Moore and he flat called. The flop came {8-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} and Moore check-called a continuation bet from Mueller.

The {4-Spades} fell on fourth street. Moore checked again and Mueller fired out. Moore released his hand and Mueller dragged in the pot.

Bonomo Gets Lucky Twice to Stay Alive

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Hand #36: Brian Aleksa raised from the small blind and Greg Mueller defended from the big. Aleksa bet the {3-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop and Mueller quickly folded.

Hand #38: Michael "Big Store" Moore made it two bets and took down the blinds. Moore flashed the {A-Clubs}.

Hand #39: Moore raised and Ben Yu made it three bets from the small blind. Moore called, the flop fell {j-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{k-Clubs} and Yu bet. Moore called, the {8-Diamonds} turned and Yu bet once again. Moore called and the {Q-Clubs} completed the board on the river. Yu bet, Moore raised and Yu folded his hand.

Hand #40: Justin Bonomo raised only to have Denotaristefani three-bet from the small blind. Bonomo made it four bets, Denotaristefani capped it at five and Bonomo called. The {10-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{7-Hearts} flop saw Bonomo get in his last 4,000 with the {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}, which had pulled out in front of Denotaristefani's {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}. The latter's rail went wild when the {q-Diamonds} spiked on the turn to give him a lead with a pair of queens. Bonomo was one card away from elimination and needed either a jack to win or king to chop. Much to the surprise of Denotaristefani's rail, the {J-Spades} peeled off to give Bonomo a double.

Hand #24: Ben Yu raised the action before the flop and the blinds released, allowing Yu to take down the pot.

Hand #25: Greg Mueller opened the action with a raise from UTG+1 and Michael Moore called from the big blind. The flop came {4-Spades}{6-Clubs}{A-Hearts} and both players checked. Hand #27: Gabriel Nassif raised before the flop in middle position and Mueller called out of the big blind. The flop came {A-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and Mueller came out swinging with a bet. Nassif slid out a raise and Mueller came right back over the top with a three-bet. Nassif called to see fourth street.

The dealer produced the {Q-Hearts} and Mueller bet enough to put Nassif all in and Nassif called.

Nassif: {8-Hearts}{8-Spades}
Mueller: {6-Spades}{5-Spades}

Nassif was ahead but Mueller was drawing live with an open-ended straight draw. The {9-Hearts} hit the river, though, and Nassif's eights were able to hold and secure him a double up.
