Double for Loube

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

On the first hand of the day, Steven Loube raised the pot from under the gun, leaving himself but 9,000 behind, and it folded around to Mike Sexton in the big blind.

"Well, I've had worse hands," said Sexton as he checked his cards, and after a bit more thought made the call.

Loube had a good one — {K-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} — while Sexton had {Q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}. Loube's hand got even better quickly when the flop came {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{K-Diamonds} to give him a full house. "You're off to a good start," said Sexton as the {6-Diamonds} turn and {A-Spades} river fell, and Loube scored the double-up.
