Charette Busts One

Level 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

From early position, Simon Charette raised to 8,000. Victor Figueroa called from the cutoff seat, and the small blind called as well before seeing the {K-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} flop. The small blind moved all in for 54,500, Charette re-shoved all in, and Figueroa folded.

Charette tabled the {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs} and was crushing his opponent's {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}. We all know how poker is, though, and the turn card brought a nice sweat with the {6-Clubs} giving the at-risk player a flush draw. The river {10-Diamonds} kept Charette clear of the suckout and he was able to win the hand to send his opponent to the rail.
