Duval Shows Why He's A Champ

Level 8 : 200/400, 50 ante
Jason Duval
Jason Duval

Jason Duval raised to 800 from early position and action folded around to the small blind who reraised to 2,100. Duvall called and the {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop was dealt. The small blind continued for 1,850 and Duval called. Both players checked the {3-Diamonds} turn. The small blind led for 3,600 on the {2-Diamonds} river and Duval called. As soon as Duval made the call, his opponent slid his cards into the muck.

Duval was sliding his hand into the muck when players reminded the dealer that the winning hand must be shown. Duval verified the rule and showed {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts} for a pair of aces. It appeared all the players were anxious to find anything to help do battle with Duval, as he seemed in full control of his table.
