Rybachenko Doubles Through Reason

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Hand #42:
Michael Gathy opened to 40,000 from the cut off and that delivered him the blinds and antes.

Hand #43:
Sergey Rybachenko opened to 45,000 under-the-gun after which Michael Gathy made it 95,000 from the hijack. Benjamin Reason shoved all in from the big blind and after some thinking Rybachenko made the call. Gathy quickly folded so the pot stayed heads-up. Rybachenko showed {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts} and was in a race against Reason's {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}. Once again the pair would hold: {J-Spades}{5-Spades}{4-Diamonds} | {3-Clubs} | {3-Spades}. Rybachenko doubled, leaving Reason behind short.

Hand #40:
Benjamin Reasons opened to 42,000 and took down the blinds and antes.

Hand #41:
Jake Cody shoved all in for 266,000 from the cut off position. Michael Gathy on the button revshoved all in and made both blinds fold. Cody tabled {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} and was up against {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}. The flop came jack high giving Cody top pair and top kicker: {J-Spades}{9-Spades}{2-Diamonds}. The {2-Clubs} on the turn didn't do Gathy any good and neither did the {K-Diamonds} on the river.

Noah Vaillancourt

Hand #30:
Noah Vaillancourt pushed all in under-the-gun plus one and directly next to him Yueqi Zhu did exactly the same thing. All the other players folded quickly and there was again a big show down to be seen in the Amazon Room. Vaillancourt tabled {K-Clubs}{Q-Spades} and Zhu showed {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}. The race would be won by the pocket paur as Vaillancourt failed to connect with the board: {A-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{3-Hearts} | {3-Diamonds} | {4-Clubs}.

Vaillancourt made his way to the rail where his girlfriend Maria Ho waited for him. The remaining seven players are guaranteed $33,456.

Gathy Doubles Through Cody

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Michael Gathy
Michael Gathy

Hand #16:
Jake Cody opened to 32,000 from the button and was met by a three bet by Michael Gathy in the small blind. The Belgian bracelet winner made it 96,000 and after the big blind folded, it was up to the English bracelet winner. Cody made it 183,000 and snap called when Gathy shoved all in for 925,000.

Cody held {A-Spades}{K-Hearts} and was in a race against Gathy's {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}. The flop was really good for Gathy and gave him a near lock on the hand: {10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{2-Spades}. The {2-Hearts} on the turn sealed the deal for Gathy and the {A-Diamonds} on the river was there just for good measures.

Hand #17:
Daniel Bishop made it 45,000 from middle position and everybody folded.

Hand #18:
Sergey Rybachenko shoved all in and everybody folded.
