Waxman Ends Baldwin
Matt Waxman opened to 4,000 from under the gun, before Eric Baldwin raised to 9,200 from the big blind. Waxman thought for a minute, before making the call, as both players saw the flop come down . Baldwin threw out a continuation bet of 8,200, which was called after another short pause from Waxman, as the made its way to the turn.
Baldwin now went into the tank, before throwing out a bet of 21,200, all whilst Waxman was staring him down. With the bet in the middle, Waxman looked over to the board, and made the call, as the completed the board. Baldwin would again think for a minute, before reaching for all his chips, and sliding them into the middle.
Waxman grunted as the bet went into the middle, throwing himself back into his chair.
“What’s wrong with you man?” said Waxman, not too happy about the river bet.
Waxman would again ask Baldwin a question, before repeating his name several times, trying to get an answer or response, as Baldwin sat there motionless.
The tank lasted almost five minutes before Waxman finally made the call as Baldwin tabled his .
“Sorry, I had you,” said Waxman, tabling his for the nut-flush.
“Wow! I wanted you to call,” said a surprised Baldwin, as he stood up from the table and walked towards the rail.
Waxman sat there raking in the pot, before saying, “I don’t know how he ever has the there.” “I just had to see his cards.”
