Harwood and Jones Chop Biggest Pot of Tournament

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

We caught up with the action on the turn, with the board showing {7-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{7-Spades}{4-Clubs}. Loni Harwood was first to act, and she fired out 28,000. Marco Johnson made the call, as did Noomis Jones. The river was the {3-Spades}, and here's where the fuse was lit. Harwood fired out 75,000, and after 30-45 seconds of thinking, Johnson called. It was now on Jones, who leaned back in his chair, and went deep into the tank. After about two minutes of thinking, he suddenly announced "all in". This was a huge bet of 342,000, and only a few seconds after Harwood got the count, she announced call! Now Johnson was in a tough spot, and he immediately said "this is so sick." He tanked for a minute or two himself before deciding to kick his hand in.

Jones showed {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} for the nut low and two pair, and Harwood showed {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for trip sevens and the second nut low. Johnson would not say whether he had folded a hand that would have earned him half the pot, but the players at the table seemed to think he did.
