The Chips are Flying

Level 28
Tom Schneider
Tom Schneider

Stud Hi-Lo

Tom Schneider: {x-}{x-} / {q-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{a-Spades} / {x-}
Benjamin Scholl: {x-}{x-} / {7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{k-Spades}{3-Clubs} / {x-}

To say the chips are flying would be an understatement. The blinds and limits are so high that winning a few hands in a row can really change things. No one knows this better than Tom Schneider, who was in critical condition toward the start of the level but is now the clear chip leader.

It happened in a hand when Benjamin Scholl brought it in with the {7-Hearts} and Greg Mueller completed with the {Q-Diamonds}. Schneider then raised, Scholl called and Mueller got out of the way. From there, Schneider bet every street through sixth and Scholl called him down.

After both players had received seventh street, they checked and Scholl said, "You've got it." Schneider then tabled the {2-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{5-Clubs} to win the robust pot.
