Kelly Looking to Capture More POY Points

Level 12
Dan Kelly
Dan Kelly

Thanks to seven cashes at the 2013 World Series of Poker thus far, Dan Kelly currently sits second on the WSOP Player of the Year leader board behind Daniel Negreanu. Both men are still alive in this field, and they no doubt have high hopes of adding to their totals.

Stud Hi-Lo

Dan Kelly: {x-}{x-} / {5-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} / {x-}
Eric Wasserson: {x-}{x-} / {a-Clubs}{4-Spades}{4-Hearts}{8-Clubs} / {x-}

After a player had brought it in with the {2-Hearts}, Kelly completed and Eric Wasserson raised. The bring-in folded, Kelly called and it was heads-up action to fourth street. Kelly proceeded to call a bet, as he did on fifth, before both players checked sixth. They did the same on seventh and Wasserson tabled {q-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for queens and fours. It was good as Kelly sent his hand to the muck.
