The Italian Pirate Raids Williams' Stack

Level 9

Limit Hold'em

We caught the action on a {j-Clubs}{7-Spades}{3-Spades} flop when Max Pescatori, otherwise known as the "Italian Pirate," checked and David Williams bet. Pescatori responded with a check-raise and then called when Williams three bet it. Pescatori then check-called a bet on the {10-Clubs} turn before leading out on the {Q-Diamonds} river. Williams made the call but mucked when Pescatori revealed the {Q-Spades}{10-Spades}. He had flopped a flush draw, but it was the running two pair that gave him the win.
