Pollak Can't Beat Flush

Level 9

Stud Hi-Lo

Benjamin Pollak{x-}{x-} / {6-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{4-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} / {x-}
Steve Conigliaro{x-}{x-} / {A-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{10-Clubs} / {x-}

We picked up with the action on fourth street to find Benjamin Pollak and Steve Conigliaro heads up in the hand. Conigliaro checked over to Pollak who fired out a bet. Conigliaro called to see fifth street where he paired up his sevens. He took the lead and fired out a bet and Pollak called.

Conigliaro bet once again on sixth and one last time on seventh. After Pollak called the bet on seventh, Conigliaro fanned {K-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs} for an ace-high club flush. Pollak picked up his down-cards, looked at them for a moment, went to muck, looked at them again, and then finally threw them again. Conigliaro dragged in the pot and now has about 21,000 while Pollak has fallen to about 20,000.
