Obrien Sends Two Out

Level 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Tobias Peters opened to 3,200 from early position, and a middle-position player with 16,100 moved all in. Patrick Obrien, in the cutoff, shipped it as well for 52,500. The player on the button looked pained as he contemplated a decision, and he finally called off his last 8,500. Peters leaned back in his chair and thought for about a minute.

"I...fold," he finally said.

Obrien: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Middle position: {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Button: {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts}

A flop of {3-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{3-Spades} left the short stacks drawing thin. A {3-Hearts} opened up some chopping outs, but the river was a {2-Clubs}, and Obrien had gotten two birds with one stone.
