Shorr Fades Draw to Double

Level 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

We missed the preflop action, but there was about 10,000 in the middle when we got to the table to see Shannon Shorr and David Coker heads up going to the flop. Those three cards were {a-Clubs}{7-Spades}{j-Clubs}, and Coker open shoved for 65,000, having Shorr covered. It didn't take long for Shoor to call off his last 33,500.

Coker: {5-Clubs}{4-Clubs}
Shorr: {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}

Shorr had flopped top pair, and would need to fade a club to survive. He was able to do that, as the board completed {9-Diamonds} and {a-Diamonds}, giving Shorr trips on the river.
