Pollak Poleaxes Two Players

Level 18 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Benjamin Pollak is is our new chip leader after claiming the stack of Julien Duveau and almost all of Jesse Wilke's.

We arrived at the table to see Pollak stand from his chair and punch the air and the reason for his excitement was as clear as the Las Vegas sky during the day.

In front of Pollak was the {K-Diamonds}{k-Spades}, in front of Duveau the {A-Spades}{10-Hearts} and Wilke held {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}. The five community cards read {2-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} meaning Pollak's kings had held and he had essentially tripled up to a monstrous stack of 715,000 and is our chip leader here with just 25 players remaining!
