Dmitrii Valouev Eliminated in 15th Place ($12,539)

Dmitrii Valouev

Dmitrii Valouev made a valiant comeback from the less then a big blind stack he had earlier in the day, working it all the way back up to 100,000 at his peak. However, his stack was grinded back down, and he just busted at the hands of Calen McNeil and Dao Bac.

McNeil started the action with a raise, and Bac called behind him. Valouev also called from the big blind, and the flop came down {9-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades}. Valouev bet his last 13,000, and both his opponents called. McNeil the bet the {7-Hearts} on the turn, and the {8-Spades} on the river. Bac called both bets, and McNeil showed {a-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{j-Hearts} for a straight. Bac held {a-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{4-Spades}{10-Diamonds} for the low, and Valouev couldn't beat either with {k-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs}.

After that hand, McNeil is up to 350,000, while Bac holds 180,000.
