"Yeah, That's a Pretty Good Hand"
Level 14
: 2,000/4,000, 0 ante
That's what we just heard Hoyt Corkins say when he went to showdown.
He had raised it up from the button and got into a battle with big blind Eric Froehlich. We were a little distracted because a bust out on another table, but we think Froehlich check-raised the flop and bet out on the turn () and river (). Corkins made the calls but had to muck as soon as Froehlich turned his over. "That's a pretty good hand! Making your pair on the turn, flush on the river" Corkins said with a smile.
For now Corkins won't be able to get those chips back from Froehlich since the table broke and they have taken seats at different tables.
