Castle Knocks Out Two

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

With a flop of {9-Spades}{8-Spades}{2-Clubs}, the player in the small blind checks to Teri Kleifgen who led for 500 from UTG. Kaleb Castle in middle position calls and the small blind goes all in for his final 3,075. Kleifgen called for less and Castle also called.

When the hands were turned up, Kleifgen held {q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}, Castle had {10-Spades}{7-Spades} and the small blind showed {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}.

The board ran out {j-Diamonds} on the turn and {5-Diamonds} on the river giving Castle a straight to eliminate Kleifgen and the small blind.

Sauter Doubles To Stay Alive

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

The player under the gun raised to 800 with two additional early position calls. Dawn Sauter reraised all in for her final 3,875 from middle position. The UTG player called and the two early position callers folded.

The hands were tabled and Sauter held {A-Spades}{K-Hearts} and her opponent showed {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}.

The flop came down {6-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{3-Spades}. The {k-Clubs} on the turn gave Sauter the higher pair with the {10-Spades} river was no help to her opponent.

Etienne Sends Shorties Packing

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

The player under the gun shipped his last 275 in, and multiple players called. The cutoff then moved all in for 1,375, the button folded, and Wesley Etienne in the small blind shoved for an additional 1,100. Everyone else folded and the players showed their hands:

UTG: {a-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}
Cutoff: {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}
Etienne: {A-Diamonds}{a-Spades}

The flop gave the trailing players a bit of hope, as {10-Spades}{2-Spades}{9-Hearts} gave the under-the-gun player a pair and the cutoff a backdoor straight draw. However, the {3-Hearts} and {4-Diamonds} sent both players to the rail, and Etienne is back in business with 5,000 chips.

Cahlik: {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}
UTG+2: {A-Spades}{9-Spades}

The board ran out {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{4-Spades}{Q-Hearts} as Cahlik scored the elimination with top two pair to chip up to about 11,000.

Doralee Rae

With the board reading {j-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}, an early position player goes all in for his final 2,100. Doralee Rae calls from the cutoff.

When the hands are turned up, the early position player showed {K-Spades}{k-Clubs} and Rae tabled {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}.

The {A-Diamonds} turn gave Rae top two pair and the {2-Spades} river did not improve her opponent's hand.

Lee Eliminated

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

According to Mike "Squirrel" Anderson, he and Bernard Lee got all in preflop with {Q-}{Q-} and {j-}{j-}, respectively. Lee jumped in front after a {j-}{10-}{9-} flop, but the squirrel found a nut when a King hit the turn, giving him a straight. Lee didn't hit his chop outs on the river, and Anderson took all of his chips.

Rubino's Deuces Hold Up (full)

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

Just before the second break, we picked up the action pre-flop where the big blind raised to 2150, and was called by Rubino in the hijack, the player in the cutoff, and the small blind.

With a dark check from the small blind, the flop came {8-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}. The hijack bet 3000, and the cutoff folded. The small blind called the 3000, putting him all-in.

Rubino: {2-}{2-}
Small blind: {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

The turn and river brought the {3-Diamonds} and {K-Clubs}. Rubino's deuces held up, and he picked up a 12,000 pot, growing his stack to 17,775.

River Helps Rae

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

Doralee Rae got all in on the turn with {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}, but unfortunately for her, her opponent had {j-}{10-} for top two pair on a {3-Clubs}{j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} board. Rae's fortunes took a turn for the better when the river brought the {3-Diamonds}, and her opponent was forced to match her 5,975 turn bet.
