Stein Starts Off Well

As we swung by Table #12, we saw a fresh face in Seat 5: 2011 bracelet winner Sam Stein. We also saw that he was hopping right into the action, as he was heads up with Drew Woodke on a flop of {8-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}. Stein fired out 400, and Woodke responded with a raise to 1,000. Stein tossed in the call, and the turn brought the {8-Hearts}, putting two pair on board.

Stein checked to Woodke, and he continued the aggression with a bet of 1,250. Stein tanked for about 20 seconds before grabbing raising chips, and tossed out 3,600. Now it was Woodke's turn in the tank, and he thought for about a minute before kicking in his cards, giving the pot to Stein.
