Two Struggling

Dan Smith and Chris Moorman are two of the players who have arguably had some of the best form in the lead up to the 2012 WSOP.

Smith took down an unprecedented 3 titles at the recent EPT Monte Carlo, along with winning the $100,000 Challenge for over $1 million at the Aussie Millions earlier in the year. Those scores bring Smith's 2012 tournament winnings alone to $ 1,767,832 - accounting for well over half of his lifetime winnings.

Just over six months ago Moorman finished in 2nd place in the World Series of poker Europe Main Event, taking home more than $1,000,000 for his effort. Since then Moorman has posted a few final tables in various places around the world. That's not to mention his very impressive WSOP last year that saw him right in the hunt for the Player of the Year title.

Unfortunately in this event both of these players are struggling, with Smith on around 2,700 and Moorman also under 2,000. Regardless of today's result though, Smith and Moorman will be two players to watch this summer.
