Wellington Draper was happy, if a little surprised, to win with a lonely pair of queens in a three-way pot.
He opened to 12,000 from early position and was called a player in the next seat, and by Thayer Rasmussen one more seat along.
He continued for 6,000 on the ![{2-Clubs}](/img/cards/2c.gif)
![{9-Diamonds}](/img/cards/9d.gif)
flop and was called in one spot before Rasmussen raised to 12,000. Both players called and the action fizzled out from there as the ![{6-Hearts}](/img/cards/6h.gif)
turn and river were checked down.
Draper opened ![{a-Hearts}](/img/cards/ah.gif)
![{6-Clubs}](/img/cards/6c.gif)
![{q-Clubs}](/img/cards/qc.gif)
and took the pot as both opponents mucked.
