Scooper For Griffin
"Scooperrrrr," the player to Gavin Griffin's left just said when he announced his cards at showdown. The board read when Griffin called a bet from the player on his right who turned over but that wasn't enough against Griffin who had for an ace-four low and full house for the high.
Gavin Griffin is chasing his second WSOP bracelet after he won the $3,000 Pot Limit Hold'em even for $270,420 all the way back in 2004. Back then he was the youngest bracelet winner ever but didn't hold that record for long when Eric Froehlich took over a year later winning the $1,500 Limit Hold'em for $303,908. Griffin was also the first player to ever complete the Triple Crown when he won WPT Borgata in 2008 banking over $1.4 million after having already won the EPT Grand Final in 2007, which is still his biggest result. Griffin took how over $2.4 million in that tournament and is looking to add another big result to his impressive list of cashes.
