"...Did You Say F*** When I Raised?"

We found Shaun Deeb and Timothy Chang looking down at a board of {9-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}. Chang checked to Deeb and Deeb checked right behind.

The turn was the {6-Hearts} and both players checked once more. The action began when the {J-Clubs} completed the board on the river. Chang fired 18,000 only to have Deeb make it 68,000 to go.

Chang sat contemplating for over a minute before making it 140,000 total.

"F**k," Deeb muttered under his breath.

After about thirty seconds, Deeb moved all in and Chang snap called. Deeb tabled {K-Spades}{10-Diamonds} for the nut straight and Chang showed {K-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} for the same hand.

"...Did you say 'f**k' when I raised?" Chang asked as they took their chips back.

"Yeah," replied Deeb. "It was because I knew we were chopping."

Deeb is currently sitting on a stack of about 375,000.

Ferrell Clips Deeb

There was already 70,000 in the middle when we saw that Freddy Deeb and Michael Ferrell were heads up on a board that read {2-Hearts}{j-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{10-Spades}. Deeb checked to Ferrell, who fired out 60,000. Deeb made the call, and the river brought the {5-Spades}. Deeb checked again, and Ferrell tanked for about 90 seconds before assembling a bet of 120,000, and tossed it in.

Now it was Deeb's turn in the tank, and after about a minute he said "well I'll give you the good news I can only beat a bluff. I have a small pair." Eventually, he folded his hand, and said " I can wait for another hand".

After that pot, Deeb is down to 330,000, while Ferrell is back up to 950,000.

Unlucky Turn for Stern

We heard the all-in cry from the dealer over on Dani Stern's table and arrived to find a {5-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{9-Clubs} flop out on the felt, with Stern's {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} going up against Steffen Retterholt's {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}. The dealer paused while the ESPN crew rushed over to the table and Stern watched on, hoping that club wouldn't send him to the rail.

Unfortunately for Stern, the {3-Clubs} turn would do some fatal damage and with no eight or paired board on the river, Stern's 2012 World Series of Poker Main Event was all over.

Andler's Aces Bust Johnson's Kings

We heard the delaer at table 351 say all in and call, and we went to go check it out. We saw that on a flop of {3-Hearts}{2-Spades}{7-Hearts}, Adam Johnson had shoved all in after Christopher Andler had bet. Andler made the call with {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}, and Johnson was on the bad end of a cooler, as he held {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}.

The turn brought paint, but it was the {q-Diamonds}. The {8-Hearts} finished out the board, and Johnson headed to the rail, while Andler chips up to 710,000.

Esfandiari Eliminated

Antonio Esfandiari
Antonio Esfandiari

After being crippled with pocket treys versus Brian Meinders' pocket aces, Antonio Esfandiari soon opened with a raise that left himself but 4,000 behind and was called by a single opponent.

The flop came {J-Clubs}{3-Spades}{8-Diamonds}, and Esfandiari's opponent said "I hit that flop good" before putting Esfandiairi all in. Esfandiari smiled and said, "I did, too," turning over {3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} again for a flopped set.

His opponent had but {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs}, and Esfandiari's hand held through the turn and river. "Ship the sherbet to Herbert!" said Esfandiari, who had doubled up to about 100,000.

Esfandiari's good fortune didn't last that long, however, as soon he was all in once more with {K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} versus Michael Shelton's {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}.

The board came {J-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{9-Spades}{3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}, and the Event 55: $1,000,000 Big One for One Drop winner was eliminated.
