We caught 2011 bracelet winner David Singontiko in a big hand on the river, with the board reading . There was about 40,000 in the middle, and Singontiko was facing a bet of 24,000. He tossed in the call, and his opponent tabled . Singontiko mucked his hand, and he dropped to 90,000.
Freddy Deeb opened for 6,500 and Michael Lipman called. The flop came , Deeb casually tossed out 5,000 and Lipman folded.
Deeb and Lipman had been having a casual conversation before the hand and after the hand the subject changed to where Lipman usually plays poker.
Lipman said he splits time between Costa Rica and the Southern Florida games. Deeb asked if Lipman had any private games he played in so maybe he could give him a call next time he's down there.
Lipman obliged and formally introduced himself and Deeb said, "I'm Freddy Deeb..."
And before he could finish Lipman said, "I know who you are."
When we reached Table 378, Paul Cogliano was all in for around 100,000 holding on a flop of . John Leathart, who is one of our leaders, had him at risk, but he was well behind with .
The turn was the , which gave Leathart three outs to make Broadway (the would give Cogliano a flush).
"Ten-ball," someone shouted.
Amazingly, the spiked on the river to eliminate Cogliano from the 2012 Main Event.
"Oh my god," Jason Mercier blurted when the card hit the felt.
"Unlucky man," Leathart offered told Cogliano, who quickly left.
According to his Twitter feed, Negreanu tangled with Chris Moore again and was bested after Moore made a straight against Negreanu's top two pair.

We caught up with the action on a flop, where Daniel Negreanu was in a pot against two other players.
Negreanu fired 8,200 from early position and was called by the player directly behind him and Chris Moore in middle position.
The turn brought the and it was checked to Moore, who fired 18,000 into the middle. Negreanu flatted, as did the player behind him.
It was checked to Moore again on the river and he fired 50,000 into the middle - sending a wave of disgust through Negreanu.
Negreanu sighed deeply and shook his head - clearly distraught about his decision. After a little thought, Negreanu folded his hand. Moore's remaining opponent also folded after tanking for a bit.
The camera crew for ESPN then asked Negreanu, who was recently moved to an outer table, to pull his hand back to show the camera to be used for Main Event footage. (Hands captured on outer tables use a small, portable camera to capture hole-card footage.)
"It's f***ing aces," Negreanu said. "I don't want to waste time with the T.V. stuff - just show my hand."
Negreanu's already-mucked hand was then revealed to be, in fact, pocket aces.

Negreanu slipped down to 160,000 as a result of the hand.
Folded to Terrence Chan on the dealer button, he raised it up to 5,000. Aaron Lim, who is part of Onnit Labs' Last Sticker Standing contest, then three-bet to 14,500 from the small blind. Chan made the call and the dealer spread out a flop. Both Lim and Chan checked here, just as they did on the turn.
The on the river would see Lim again check and this time Chan would bet 19,000. Lim barely hesitated before flicking out the call. At showdown, Chan tabled , which was enough to see Lim's cards into the muck and send the pot to Chan.
