Bronshtein Bumping Up

Yuval Bronshtein
Yuval Bronshtein

Yuval Bronshtein was quite active as Level 29 came to a close, having picked up several good hands and pushed with them each time.

Just now Jeremy Ausmus raised to 210,000 from the hijack seat, and Jacob Balsiger called from a seat over. Cylus Watson then pushed it up to 600,000 from the button. Yuval Bronshtein was next to act in the small blind, and after checking his cards he declared he was all in. All quickly folded back to Watson, and after a count it was determined Bronshtein was pushing for about 6 million total.

"I'm not bluffing," said Bronshtein with a grin as Watson considered the situation. Finally he folded, showing Bronshtein his {A-}{K-} (unsuited) rapidly as he did. Bronshtein turned over {A-Spades}{K-Spades}, and the pair continued to discuss the hand afterwards.

Bronshtein pointed out how it was "the best squeeze situation possible," while Watson smiled and shook his head, saying "I'm such a nit." "It's such a good fold, though," said Bronshtein, and they continued the discussion into the next hand.
