Ausmus Doubles Through Saeed On Cooler Flop

Action started with Jeremy Ausmus raising to 51,000 in early position. Omar Saeed was next to act, and he made the call. Everyone else folded, and they went heads up to a flop of {9-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{10-Hearts}. Ausmus bet 65,000, and the fireworks went off. Saeed raised it up to 175,000, and Ausmus clicked it back to 365,000. Saeed responded by moving all in, and Ausmus snap called for his last 750,000. It was obvious that both players hit the flop hard, and when the cards were tabled, that was confirmed.

Ausmus: {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Saeed: {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}

Saeed had flopped top set, but he was well behind the straight of Ausmus. Saeed would need the board to pair to win the hand, but the board completed with low cards, coming {4-Spades} and {7-Hearts}.

Ausmus collected the pot, upping his stack to 2.183 million, while Saeed drops down to 1.376 million.
